My husband and I are huge foodies. Camping for us is 90% food 10% adventure, and 100% fun!
Guys! We just tried these roasted marshmallow strawberry s’mores, and let me just say, Ill probably never eat another s’more ever again!
THESE WERE SO DANG STINKING GOOD!
Wash and dry strawberries.
Make sure the strawberries are dry or else the marshmallow fluff will not stick.
Also, there is nothing better than a nice cold strawberry. Refrigerate your strawberries so they don’t get warm and gooey in the fire.
Spear strawberry onto a roasting stick.
Dip into marshmallow fluff.
We also spooned it on to the strawberries because the strawberries started to get stuck like a suction cup in the marshmallow!
Ha ha ha! Learn from our mistakes. Just use a spoon.
Roast mallow-coated strawberry in fire until golden.
Dip in Nutella.
We also found it is easier to spoon it onto your strawberry.
Dipping is for rookies.
100% kid approved.
Dip in crushed graham crackers!
Viola! The perfect camping treat! Yummmmmmmmm!
I mean… look at that delectable morsel! Don’t you just want a lick your screen? Well, don’t lick your screen, that is gross. Ewe, germs.
I bet you are wondering if the strawberry gets warm and yucky after roasting?
The answer is NO! Magically the strawberry stays nice and chilly on the inside.
The marshmallow fluff roasts really fast so the strawberry doesn’t have time to warm up.
Also note: the fluff roasts SUPER fast so make sure to keep an eye on your strawberry!
Let me know what you think! What else could we top or dip our strawberries in? Any genius ideas out there?
