Ok Ok, We haven’t gotten very far and I have already lied to you. Yes, I did. There is no butter in this butter chicken, it is margarine! But margarine chicken just doesn’t sound as yummy, don’t you think? Butter chicken just has a nice ring to it. Butter will burn, margarine doesn’t burn! So, make sure you get margarine, NOT BUTTER! Sorry for lying to you. Can we still be friends? I promise you will forgive me after you try this chicken!
You can make this chicken in a dutch oven while camping, or at home in a deep sauce pan.
All you need is four to six chicken breasts, seasoning salt AND TWO WHOLE BOXES OF MARGARINE!
Yes, you read that correctly.
Two 16 oz boxes of margarine!
Remember when I said they were good, but not good for you? Yeah, I wasn’t lying.
But they are sooooooo good.
Serve it up with dutch oven potatoes and a nice, green salad.
Follow it up with these delicious campfire, strawberry s’mores!
- 4-6 chicken breasts, seasoning salt, two boxes of margarine
- Bring margarine to a boil in a dutch oven, or in a deep sauce pan.
- Lightly sprinkle seasoning salt on both sides of chicken. rub it in.
- place chicken in boiling margarine until fully cooked
