Summer is in full swing at our house! And where we live it gets HOT!! So you better believe we spend a lot of time inside, at the pool, splash pad, or outside in the SHADE. We have to come up with different ways to keep my kids busy and entertained since going outside isn’t always an option.

We have two kids under 5. As you can imagine, and as most of you know, we don’t get out as much as we used to. What used to be movie nights, eating out, or fun activities have turned into quiet evenings at home for my husband and I. Kids have bedtimes, busy schedules, and by the end of the day we are all wiped out.
I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!!! WE BOUGHT A CAMPING TRAILER! In the words of Emmett from Lego movie…
OH MY G- O- S- H.
What? You don’t remember that part of the movie? Whats wrong with you? Here is a clip.
Want me to let you in on a secret? Oh, you do? Ok, I’ll spill… Deep breath…ok here it is… I AM BROKE! Every time I spend more than twenty dollars I cringe! I don’t think there is anything in my closet over $20! When I found out I was pregnant with a baby girl OVER TWO YEARS AGO!!! (Gosh, where does the time go?) My heart wanted a beautiful nursery full of beautiful, expensive, things… my budget, not so much. This easy-peasy DIY flower mobile made my heart, AND my head, AND my wallet, AND my eye balls happy! Keep reading for more secrets….
I have an obsession with rugs. It’s a problem. You can find me browsing through patterns and fabrics on the regular. One main reason I am always looking is because my rugs get destroyed!
The toy room rug, stained. Bathroom rug, smashed and dirty. Nursery rug, covered in spit up.
I wipe and clean but eventually, they die. All the wiping and spot cleaning in the world couldn’t keep those rugs going for one more day.
My Master Bedroom has had empty walls since as long as I remember. It has always been the last room to be decorated in my house for some reason.
But not today! I finally put my foot down and I finally have something to hang up on the walls.
