My oldest son’s birthday is just around the corner. Last year I threw him this camping themed party. It has by far been my favorite party EVER! It was seriously so fun! My husband is an avid outdoors-man and loves anything rugged and manly. So obviously my son does anything his daddy does so when we thought of this idea. We were all so excited.

All you mama’s remember the moment….that day when its’ finally time to take your pregnancy test…let the sweaty palms and excitement ensue.
That last stage of pregnancy is ABSOLUTE WORST! Your body hurts, you cant sleep, days feel like weeks (especially if you are over due). You just want that baby OUT OF THERE! I totally feel your pain! Trust me, I have been there. Here are a few things that helped me that maybe you have never heard about.
I am one of the most forgetful people ever.
I can hardly remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday.
It’s a problem.
My sister told me about this ingenious parenting hack a few years ago. She has three little girls. You can imagine, things can get pretty sassy around her house. When her daughters start whining, fighting, back talking, or cursing, she gives them a little squirt of sassy sauce! The best part of this devilishly good parenting tip is that sassy sauce is simply vinegar! Which is disgusting, but has tons of positive health benefits! The days of washing your kids mouths out with soap are long gone! Hooray!
I love New Years, I love a fresh start, goals, fireworks, and confetti. I always remember reflecting back on the previous year and thinking about all the highs and lows. It gives amazing insight on things that I can change and do better.
This is not a drill…my kids actually ate something healthy! It’s an absolute miracle. I have THE pickiest 5 year old. His diet mostly consists of toast, chicken nuggets. grilled cheese, and quesadillas. Yes, it’s awful! I can get him to try new foods, but he just hates most everything. Getting in more than one bite of something that’s somewhat healthy is a constant battle. My 2 year old on the other hand is an AMAZING eater, that girl will eat anything you put in front of her. Go figure.
I am flipping tired, and I am mad.
I yelled at my kids today.
If I am being honest, I yell at my kids EVERYDAY.
