You know those pregnancy cravings that literally hit you like a brick wall? These cookies are one of those for me. When my pregnancy cravings hit, it’s life or death. So you better believe when I wanted these cookies I ran to my nearest store and got all the ingredients.
Spring is finally here! (can I get a hoorah?) It’s warming up, the flowers are blooming, and there are baby animals everywhere. It’s my favorite! And as much as I love spring, I know that summer will be here before I know it. And where we live, summers can be a little brutal! It’s not unusual for it to get over 100 degrees!

All you mama’s remember the moment….that day when its’ finally time to take your pregnancy test…let the sweaty palms and excitement ensue.
One of my sons favorite books is “Where the Wild Things Are“. I actually remember reading this book as a child myself and thinking how cool it was that Max went on this amazing adventure and came back to his hot dinner waiting for him! It’s amazing how timeless of a book it is. It makes my 5 year olds imagination go wild, and he loves seeing cute little Max dancing with the wild things.
Have you guys been watching all the charcoal mask madness on social media? I am obsessed with watching people slowly peel off their black heads. I had to try it myself! My favorite are all the charcoal mask fails! Weather their mask doesn’t peel off at all, or they painfully remove all the hair off their face! I love it! I can’t get enough! Here are some of my favorite videos I have seen so far. I dare you to watch them and not laugh!
My kids love sweets, it’s bad, but who doesn’t!? I have a major sweet tooth! So with St. Patrick’s Day approaching I wanted to make a fun treat that was festive, cute, and YUMMY!
That last stage of pregnancy is ABSOLUTE WORST! Your body hurts, you cant sleep, days feel like weeks (especially if you are over due). You just want that baby OUT OF THERE! I totally feel your pain! Trust me, I have been there. Here are a few things that helped me that maybe you have never heard about.
I have an obsession with rugs. It’s a problem. You can find me browsing through patterns and fabrics on the regular. One main reason I am always looking is because my rugs get destroyed!
The toy room rug, stained. Bathroom rug, smashed and dirty. Nursery rug, covered in spit up.
I wipe and clean but eventually, they die. All the wiping and spot cleaning in the world couldn’t keep those rugs going for one more day.
I am of Swedish decent. Don’t get too excited. I know practically next to nothing about my Swedish heritage! I would love to go there someday. Until then I will settle on long trips to Ikea. I feel like my great-great-grandma would be proud though, because I can make a MEAN Swedish meatball! Aaaaannnnndddd…. You will love this recipe because you probably have everything in your pantry to make them right now! So do it! Right now! They are delicious! Trust me!!!! (By the way these meatballs are 1,000 times better than Ikea’s Swedish meatballs. Don’t cry Ikea… I still love you.)
